In order to meet needs for power transmission of surplus electricity of Sichuan to outside during and after "13th Five-Year", optimize resource allocation of Sichuan clean energy resources in greater scope, and satisfy the load demand of Chongqing, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company and State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company started the work for approval and construction preparation of Sichuan-Chongqing 3rd 500kV Transmission Line Project.

Due to better service reputation and word of mouth in long-term cooperation, the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company has entrusted preparation of the soil and water conservation scheme of this Project to our Institute. This Project is subject to department-level approval and helps to accumulate the performance of the department-approved soil and water conservation.

At the end of March 2016, our Institute accepted the entrustment of the Owner. As the work duration is very tight, and the Institute leaders attached great importance to the work, the Environmental Protection Section convened an emergency meeting to set up a project team consisting of experienced personnel and appointed Yang Yan of the Environmental Protection Section as the project responsible person. The responsible person immediately started the compilation work. As the compilation is synchronized with the feasibility study, our technical personnel investigated the site on April 6-11 and April 23-24 in 2016 according to the existing roadmap, and resolved the problems of water and soil conservation scheme.

This Project involves multiple owners, design units, and passes through the Jiangyan, Anyue in Ziyang, Sichuan, and the Tongnan, Tongliang and Beibei Districts, Chongqing. Thus, it is difficult to collect and collate the data. In addition, this project has large amount of work, and the duration is short. This has posed a challenge to the Environmental Protection Section. Due to high attention paid by the leaders and active cooperation of Business Section, all the personnel of Environment Protection Section worked overtime and finished the draft on April 25. Yang Yan led the personnel to go to Beijing for reporting to the relevant departments. This showed our devotion, team spirit and overall consciousness.

At present, the Environmental Protection Section would continue to work overtime during May Day holiday and submit the final report on time.
