On the morning of November 25, 2015, Tibet Jueba Hydropower Station 110kV transmission and transformation project designed by Sichuan Electric Power Design Institute for Huaneng Lantsang Upstream Hydropower Co., Ltd. has been formally put in to operation.

    Jueba Hydropower station 110kV transmission and transformation project is located in Rumei Town, Mangkang County, Changdu City, Tibet, with an altitude of 2700 meters, and the construction scale of the power transformation project is as follows: Main transformer capacity: End stage 2×20MVA, 1×20MVA as-built for this stage; 110kV outgoing line: 3 loops for end stage, 3 loops for this stage; 35kV outgoing line: 4 loops for end stage, standby for this stage; 10kV outgoing line: 14 loops for end stage, 3 loops for outgoing line of this stage, 11 loops are reserved; equip with 10kV VAR compensation capacitor set:Equip the main transformer of this stage with 2×2004kvar, equip two main transformers of end stage with 4×2004kvar in total; equip 10kV shunt reactor: 2 sets of 2×2000kvar for the two main transformers of end stage/this stage.

    Through procedures like feasibility study and preliminary design review, on September, 2015, all drawings of this project (with a total of 52 copies) have been published and delivered to Project Management Office.

    Smooth operation of the project marks the formal completion of power distribution channel of Jueba Hydropower Station; it provides the necessary condition for the construction of Rumei Hydropower Station and lays a solid foundation for the high-strength construction of 300m ultra-high dam.
